Over- or under expressed proteins can be mapped to biochemical pathways. 

Select in the volcano plot all over expressed proteins, control-click in the table view and choose the command: 

Copy selected rows. 

Paste the rows into a spread sheet programme and copy the column Gene names. 

Go to the String web page hit the Search button and paste the gene names into the Multiple Proteins - List of Names field. The result is a interactive network of proteins which can be investigated for specific proteins and their interactors, pathways and clusters.
